Who and why?

Guerilla Knitter

fastenerCreature maker by day and knitter by night (plus most other crafts you can think of).  I often shelve creative urges into my brain to live among the cobwebs and buttons – to be pulled out when the moment requires.

I guerilla knit to pass on a bit of wooly wonder onto the streets. Its all about making something, however big or small, and leaving it for someone else to find unexpectedly.  If it makes a passer by smile, my mission has been achieved.

During the day I make things for tight deadlines, for other people and usually not from my own design.  By being a knit graffiti  artist I spend hours over making something that I love, to then simply tie it up and leave it for someone else.  I dont know if they’ll love it, I dont know if they’ll steal it for themselves or leave it be.  In fact I dont really mind.  There is something very liberating about that.

Making stuff that I dream up seems to keep the madness at bay.

I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one today..
